HANDMADE FURNITURE

Almost all of the furniture we craft is made of 100% repurposed wood. Any extra time we have, we spend scavenging for wood with nails, screws, and splinters that people have no use for anymore. Before acquiring it, I assure that all wood is structurally sound and without any unrepairable blemishes.

The best part about using repurposed wood is its versatility. The rustic, aged look to old woods can often be sanded out to give you a beautiful piece of "new" wood.

Although I excel in crafting with repurposed woods, I can also craft furniture out of new pre-cut wood upon request.
CUSTOM SIGNS AND SHELVING

Custom signs add a distinct, personal touch to any home or business. From Bible verses to business names, signs not only give direction but also encourage and motivate.
We make three types of signs: scrolled, painted, and cut-out. My perfectionism really comes out when I use my scroll saw to cut out individual letters out for a sing. Cutting-out words into a single piece of wood is also very meticulous work. This technique only allows me to make signs up to 30 inches. Lastly, my wife is an excellent artist. All of our painted signs are painted by her. After I make the custom frame and prep the surface, she puts her hands to work to write the most beautiful words.

All of the signs we make can be made to the size you specify. Interior and exterior signs are available.
HARDWOOD REFINISHING

Hardwood flooring is a beautiful addition to any home. One of the main reasons people install hardwood in the first place is so they do not have to replace the carpeting every 8 years. Unfortunately, hardwood still tends to get scratches and stains over time and you have to refinish them. Although it is easier to replace the floors, it can be thousands of dollars cheaper to refinish them.

My wife and I refinished our wood floors for the first time in May of 2019. (top left image) With a baby on the way, we did not want to worry about the bacteria and allergens that come along with carpet. After we finished, I had never been so pleased.

Water damage and other deep stains are always a scare to some people when it comes to refinishing antique floors. My dad, who also does a little woodwork, likes to say, "It's nothing a little stain and a nice rug can't fix." Truly, most darker stains can fix almost any damaged wood.
